Hannigan's credits include entries in the

James has recorded
orchestras around the world including, among others, The Philharmonia
Orchestra, the Skywalker Symphony Orchestra, The Chamber Orchestra of London
and the Slovak Radio Symphony Orchestra - recording at locations such as
Abbey Road Studios, Skywalker Ranch, Phoenix Sound and Air-Lyndhurst and
frequently works with
renowned ensembles and soloists such as Tony Hinnigan (Titanic, Braveheart),
The Pinewood Singers, Miriam Stockley (Adiemus), Miranda Keys and Soname, to
name a few.
In earlier years, James scored numerous commercials, worked briefly as a
Sound Designer (contributing to films such as Lost In Space),
and held the position of in-house composer at Electronic Arts Europe
during the mid 1990s. James's production library music is widely used
around the world, often heard in TV shows such as The Apprentice, WW2 in HD, America's Got Talent, X Factor and
others.

Participating as a panelist at events such as Tiga's 'Games
Meet Film' at Pinewood Studios,
'Ear Candy' at the Barbican Centre, the Edinburgh International Festival
alongside Stephen Deutsch, Harry Gregson-Williams and Barrington Pheloung;
Musicworks with Audio Director Nick Laviers, The Develop Conference and The BAFTA Interactive Festival with
John Broomhall, James also writes articles and has been featured on the
cover of
Develop Magazine,
profiled in Post, Audio Media, Resolution, Tracksounds; Music, Sound and the
Moving Image (MSMI), Film Score Monthly and
other publications - and has been
interviewed by the
BBC
several times. Most recently, James was featured in Tom Hoover's
book, "Keeping
Score: Interviews with Today's Top Film, Television, and Game Music
Composers".
Video Games Live have toured globally with
some of James's music and, in September 2009, the Eminence Symphony
Orchestra debuted the first live performance of Command and Conquer: Red
Alert 3's ' Soviet March'
at the Sydney Entertainment Centre as part of "A Night in Fantasia". Other
public performances of James's music include a recent concert held at St.
Mary's Church, Nottingham, as part of the the
GameCity Festival, 2010.
